Best goth hangout spots for a weekend in Chicago?
Hi friends! Me, my partner, and two friends are planning to visit Chicago in April and I'd love for us to go clubbing one night of our trip!
We're planning to be there from Thursday night to Monday morning, so anything that's hosted on a Friday or a Saturday would be ideal.
My partner and I have been to two goth clubbing events in the past, so we have a tiny bit of experience in the scene. But the friends we're going with are virgins, albeit excited and open to anything!
So, what goth clubs still exist in Chicago? What would be your advice?

Goths in Chicago???
Anybody in this subreddit live in Chicago? I've been a baby bat for a few months now and want goth friends to go to cemeteries, concerts, the works.

Giving away a pair of tickets for Voltaire’s sold out show in Chicago tonight if anyone is interested on short notice. I can’t make it, but no need for tickets to go to waste.
First come, first served. Reply here, I will private message for contact info for DICE ticket transfer.

Would the Chicago goth scene be interested in an all ages goth cafe?
My partner and I have both dreamed of opening a cafe type business, and both of us had a similar experience of growing up in the scene but not having a place to hangout other then malls. Even now as adults we don’t really go to nightclubs, and there aren’t many quiet places to be part of the scene and hangout for people with sensory issues or who aren’t allowed in the clubs or bars. We were considering a goth themed cafe where people could come and be a part of the scene in a calmer atmosphere. But this would only be possible if people were actually interested, otherwise it wouldn’t exactly be successful. Would the Chicago scene be interested in a place like that?

What was the Chicago goth scene like in the 80s?
So, I’m curious about what the goth scene in Chicago was like in the 80s. Was it fun?
